I’m baking for my bat mitzvah! I’m offering tasty treats and the satisfaction of giving to a good cause.

Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS)

Rooted in Jewish values, HIAS helps refugees and asylum seekers find safety and rebuild their lives through services and advocacy.

We’ll collect the money and split the proceeds evenly between the two organizations. Let us know if you want to donate directly to HIAS or Make the Road New York in honor of Lilia. We couldn’t make that work on this website, but we want to encourage donations however we can.

2Choose a baking weekI’ll bake up to 25 packs a week for the next month. If there’s demand for more, I’ll add as many more spots as I can, as long as I still have time to practice my haftorah.

3Pickup or delivery

Pick up at TBZSaturday of your chosen week, at services. My parents prefer you choose this option! It makes their lives much easier. And it gives you something extra to look forward to at shul. Delivery near TBZFor a donation of $50 or more, Sunday of your chosen week, 1–5pm, within 2 miles of TBZ (1550 Beacon St, Brookline). At the Bat MitzvahFor guests coming from out of town.
